 Best 6 of 16.

The number of Handicap Differentials to be included in the calculation of a players handicap

amended to the following:

Number of Scores in

Players Scoring Record

Handicap Differentials to

be Used in the Calculation

3 to 6 Lowest 1

7 or 8 Lowest 2

9 or 10 Lowest 3

11 or 12 Lowest 4

13 or 14 Lowest 5

15 or 16 Lowest 6

2. Change the Multiplier from 0.96 to 0.93.

3. Cap the value a Handicap Differential can take as follows (note: these are the values that are

displayed in the Played Tocolumn on golflink.com.au; Handicap Differential = Gross Score minus

Course Rating):

· 50 Women

· 40 Men 4. Introduce an Anchor which prevents a players handicap from increasing by any more than 4 strokes

beyond their best exact handicap from the previous 12-month rolling period.

· Example: Where in the previous 12-month period a players best exact handicap is 11.4, the

players handicap will not be permitted to increase beyond 15.4.

· There will not be any limit on downward movement of a players Exact Australian Handicap.

· The Anchor will only take effect once a player has 16 scores in their handicap record. (For

Anchorpurposes, an exact handicap calculated on the basis of less than 16 cards can not be

an Anchorhandicap and is totally disregarded.)

· Where the players Home Club adjusts a players handicap outwards, for Anchorpurposes,

an exact handicap calculated prior to such a manual over-ride can not be an Anchor

handicap and is totally disregarded. (Note: The same exclusion does not apply in the case of

downward manual adjustments.)

Exceptions to 12-month Period (ie when period will be extended):

· Exception 1: Where a player has not returned any cards in the previous 12-month period,

the Anchorhandicap will be the handicap calculated as a result of their most recent round.

· Exception 2: Where a players Anchor handicap becomes more than 12 months old in the

period between two rounds being played. For example:

o A players Anchorhandicap on 1 March 2012 is 11.4.

o Their handicap became 11.4 after returning 41 points on 1 April 2011.

o The player does not return a score in the period from 1 March 2012 until they play

again on 1 May 2012.

o The Anchorhandicap for the round played on 1 May 2012 will still be 11.4.

o (The Anchorwill be recalculated after the round played on 1 May 2012. The new

Anchorwill apply to the players NEXT round.)
